About Us

VICAI Analytics is an initiative of VICAI Research Analytics and Publications LLP, established with the objective of developing an interdisciplinary platform for research, statistical analysis, analytical capacity building and consultancy.

The initiative has emerged from the belief that contemporary economic and social questions increasingly require the integration of domain knowledge, research methodology and analytical skills.

Large quantities of data are now available to researchers, institutions and policymakers. However, availability of data does not automatically produce knowledge. Data must be examined using appropriate methods, interpreted within its social and institutional context, and translated into meaningful evidence.

VICAI Analytics seeks to contribute to this process.

Our Approach

Research questions often cross disciplinary boundaries.

Questions concerning employment cannot always be understood through economics alone. Education involves economics, sociology, institutions and household behaviour. Development programmes require an understanding of statistics as well as governance, implementation and local context.

VICAI Analytics therefore follows an interdisciplinary and application-oriented approach.

We seek to combine: Subject Knowledge + Research Methodology + Statistical Analysis + Contextual Understanding

Our programmes and assignments are designed not merely to generate statistical results, but to understand what those results mean and how they can contribute to research and decision-making.
